CAT-BUNDA FARM'S IRRIGATION TECHNOLOGIES OFFER NEW MINDSET FOR PRODUCTIVE CROP PRODUCTION
Through alternative agriculture systems and adoption of productive skills, Bunda farm, sited in Lilongwe University Of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR, BUNDA CAMPUS), stands as a testament to the power of irrigation for successful crop production. In Malawi where farmers have suffered much with effect of climate change, unpredictable weather Patterns and natural disasters which have disturbed traditional farming, Bunda farm arises and offers a beacon of hope. The farm prospered not by chance, but through embracing the life-giving potential of irrigation, ensuring a consistent and bumper harvest throughout the year.
